What if the school we work at has no money for technology?
I can effectively integrate technology into my teaching by taking advantage of the Internet and the computers that schools are making available to their students. I have found through my practicum placement that SMART boards are an important component to have in a classroom so that the students can become more involved in the lessons and therefore come away with more knowledge than they would if they were just sitting and listening to a lecture. I can integrate technology into my learning by taking advantage of the Internet again to look for interesting articles that would apply to me and/or my teaching. I would also use e-mail to correspond with different colleagues so that I may be able to improve my methods and possibly help them to improve theirs.
