QR Chapter 2

One thing that jumped out at me while I was reading this chapter was the reflective exercise for teachers to determine whether or not you are favoring certain students over others. This jumped out at me because I always figured that teachers will just pick their ‘favorite’ students and favor them, not caring whether or not that has an effect on the other students in the class. I was really happy to see that at least some teachers care about how their class views them and that they don’t want to favor any students over others.
